Helping Children, Teens, and Young Adults Achieve Mental Wellness
As a specialized child, adolescent and family Therapist, I am deeply committed to providing young individuals with the tools and coping mechanisms needed to live a happy and healthy life. My primary goal during the treatment process, is to develop an individualized plan of care that caters to each person's specific set of needs and core values. I consistently seek to empower children and young adults by demonstrating how to effectively advocate for oneself and by providing insight into the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and internal experiences. I additionally offer family therapy and support for issues such as: excessive conflict/fighting between family members, poor communication, and difficulty adjusting after significant transitions/life-events (divorce, death of a loved one, adoption, financial strain, etc.). Following my recent certification completion of The Fundamentals of Neurodiversity from Florida State University, I now also offer specialized treatment (both group sessions and individual sessions) for ADHD and Autism. As a clinician, I recognize the importance of building meaningful relationships within the therapeutic process and always seek to create an emotionally safe/supportive environment for each individual in my care.
